Out to Sea, is a comfortable family home located on Above Town. Well suited for families or multiple couples to enjoy a holiday in South Devon. Out to Sea is presented to maximise the stunning views achieved from its elevated position. With a french windows from the living room, a Juliette balcony in the master bedroom, full width windows in the top bedroom as well as an elevated deck in the rear garden; all looking out over the river and towards the English Channel. Whilst only being a 5-10 minute walk to Dartmouth town centre.

Approximately 40 steps lead up from the parking bay to the front terrace and main entrance. The front door opens to the ground floor with open plan living space with dining area and well equipped kitchen at the rear. At the front of the room is the french windows offering unrestricted river views, filling the room with light and offering access to the front terrace with garden furniture. The lounge area has 2 sofas + armchair, TV with DVD and electric effect fire for the chillier winter evenings. There is also a dining table that comfortably seats 6.

 

The kitchen at the rear is well equipped with a Smeg fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, toaster. From the kitchen there is access to the rear garden. A flight of garden steps will take you up to the elevated rear deck with garden furniture.

 

Up to the first floor where you will find the master bedroom, bunk room and family bathroom. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, a Juliette balcony making the most of the panoramic views, as well as a TV and ensuite shower room. The bunk room in the rear has bunk beds as well as an additional single bed. (If you with to stay as a party of 7, this is possible but there will be a £50 premium). The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and basin.

 

Upstairs again to the 2nd floor, in the eves of the property is ‘the engine room’ this second bedroom has a double bed, duel aspect windows again looking towards the river as well as over the back garden.

 

Outside – on the road level there is a parking bay for one vehicle, steps up to the front door pass by a mid level sitting area, then the front terrace with outdoor furniture perfect for alfresco dining. The raised deck in the rear garden is up a number of steps so may not be suitable for young children left unsupervised.

Arrival and departure times

Arrival time is after 3pm and departure time is by 10am. Access is via a key safe, therefore it does not matter if you are arriving late at night.

Changeover

In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Friday changeover and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact us with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible.
Out of peak season we don’t need to keep to a Friday changeover.

General Provisions

To get you started on arrival you will find a small quantity of –  tea, coffee and sugar as well as salt and pepper, dish washing tablets, washing up liquid, j-cloths and scourers, bin bags, hand soap and toilet roll.

Out To Sea is located on Above Town, a short but relatively steep walk from town.

Travelling by car

Dartmouth is around 17 miles from the A38 Intersection at Buckfastleigh.

Travelling by train

Dartmouth is around 12 miles from Totnes Railway Station, which has a selection of Taxi’s, and a regular bus service to Dartmouth.

Travelling by plane

Dartmouth is around 45 miles from Exeter International Airport.

Travelling by ferry

Dartmouth is around 31 miles from the Ferry Port at Plymouth.
