“We stayed at Old Quay House back in October for a great few days.   I understand the cottage has only recently been refurbished and just come on the rental market however, the standard was like a 5 star hotel.  It was deceptively spacious with three large bedrooms and a kitchen diner which had everything we needed.  We particularly liked it that the lounge was on the first floor giving great views of the river even when the weather was a bit mixed! It was only a short walk to the centre of Dartmouth where we enjoyed a lovely meal at the Floating Bridge however, I’m sure we would have taken advantage of the BBQ facilities in the garden if it had been a little warmer! Thanks again and hopefully we will be back soon!” Paul – November 2019

“Old Quay House has it all, from the moment we walked through the front door you could tell that it has been refurbished to a very high standard. Three lovely decorated and carpeted bedrooms all with en-suites. The kitchen on the first floor has everything you need, lovely seating area and through to the lounge. The window seat in the lounge was well used during our stay and the view out over Brittania Navy College and Coronation Park to the boats on the river, the Higher Ferry and over to the trees on the Kingswear side etc is just great. The lounge sofas were very comfortable allowing us to relax whilst we watched TV or stream music via the Sonus sound system. The 2nd floor bedroom/en-suite and balcony meant that we could enjoy a coffee on the balcony whilst taking in the morning sunshine. Perfectly positioned and less than 100 yards from the River, we were able to enjoy some of the excellent restaurants and explore the local shops that Dartmouth has to offer, and only a few minutes’ walk away. Old Quay House is a real home from home, and we will be looking forward to visiting the cottage again.” Kevin and Sarah – September 2019
