Middle Meadow, Dittisham

Sleeps 7+1

Middle Meadow is a family friendly holiday cottage in the heart of Dittisham village. As the name suggests this holiday let has a large grassy garden with shallow stream, wild flowers and fruit trees (including the famous Ditsum plum). The property benefits from an open plan living area and 4 bedrooms suitable for 2 families or 3 couples to enjoy a self catering holiday in this beautiful riverside village. Sleeps 7 plus child. Little Meadow next door sleeps 2 and for extended families we offer a £200 discount when booked together with Middle Meadow.

Accommodation : A few steps lead up to the front door which opens to a hallway leading to the sociable, open plan living space. Two steps take you down to the dining area with circular table and chairs with patio doors that open into the garden. The kitchen is to the right of the dining area separated by a breakfast bar with stools. The kitchen and adjacent utility room are well equipped and include an electric oven with hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. From the dining area two steps lead up to the lounge with sofas, TV, DVD, Stereo and an open fire. There is also a cloak room on this level with toilet and basin. The house is further decorated with modern paintings and ceramics.

Upstairs: From the hallway stairs take you up to the first floor where all four bedrooms are set into the eaves. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, TV and en suite shower room with toilet and basin. The second bedroom has a standard double bed. Bedroom three is a twin with zip and link beds that can be made up as a kingsize bed.  The fourth bedroom is a single room adjoining the twin room, there is room for an additional put-me-up bed in the single room if required. All rooms are light and airy with velux windows throughout. There is a family bathroom on the 1st floor with bath, shower over, toilet and basin. Travel cot and high chair available.

Outside: The property is accessed via a long drive with plenty of space for parking. The garden is predominantly lawn with mature fruit trees and shrubs and has river views. There is a lovely patio area with outside furniture, petanque, chiminea and barbeque. As well as the shallow stream that runs through the garden there is a second pond that whilst located in the meadow is adjoining the garden and from the property is not covered – parents therefore will need to be on hand to supervise at all times.
