This charming cottage has recently been completely renovated and beautifully furnished to create a very comfortable and welcoming holiday property to enjoy at any time of the year. Located in a very central spot sitting just behind the Market Square you’re seconds from the town’s shops, bars and restaurants yet feel far enough away from the hustle and bustle due to the property’s elevated position.

A flight of steps from the road take you up to the private enclosed front deck. The front door opens straight into the cosy sitting room with wood burning stove, comfortable sofas and armchair, TV and DVD. Stairs up to the first floor where you will find the brand new light and airy kitchen/ dining room complete with integrated appliances including oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area has an extending dining table that comfortably sits 6. Off the kitchen is a small single bedroom with access to the tiled family bathroom, bath with overhead shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail.

Stairs from the dining area lead up to the second floor with two bedrooms – the master bedroom has a king size bed, hanging space and a chest of drawers.  The second bedroom is a twin room with hanging space and chest of drawers. There is an additional shower room on this floor.

At the front of the property is the private enclosed deck area with garden furniture and potted plants, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of fizz.

It is possible to stop at the bottom of the steps to unload and a parking pass is provided for Mayors Avenue Car Park a 3 minutes’ walk away.

Please note the flight of steps up to the property are quite steep and a little uneven.

Regrettably pets are not accepted here

Arrival and departure times

Arrival time is after 3pm and departure time is by 10am. Access is via a key safe, therefore it does not matter if you are arriving late at night.

Changeover

In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Friday changeover and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact us with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible.
Out of peak season we don’t need to keep to a Friday changeover.

To get you started on arrival you will find a small quantity of –  tea, coffee and sugar as well as salt and pepper, dish washing tablets, washing up liquid, j-cloths and scourers, bin bags, hand soap and toilet roll.

Dartmouth is around 17 miles from the A38 Intersection at Buckfastleigh.

Travelling by train

Dartmouth is around 12 miles from Totnes Railway Station, which has a selection of Taxi’s, and a regular bus service to Dartmouth.

Travelling by plane

Dartmouth is around 45 miles from Exeter International Airport.

Travelling by ferry

Dartmouth is around 31 miles from the Ferry Port at Plymouth.
