“Lovely view, short walk to town.” Chris 19-24 September 2019

“This was a nice ground floor apartment for two with good facilities and beautiful views from the dining table across the Dart estuary. A free car parking pass was provided for parking on the public car park in the centre of Dartmouth. We just left the car there most of the week and used ferries, steam train and bus for seeing the area.” Julia 6-13 September 2019

“Great location, superb views” Tim 27 August – 1 September 2019

“This is a compact apartment for 2 people. Accommodation is comfortable with adequate facilities for two. The outstanding feature is the fabulous view from the front window.”Hilary 12-17 August 2019

“Great view. A nice apartment in a perfect location very close to everything in Dartmouth and a great view of the harbour.” Darren – 3-10 August 2019

“2 Dartview is in a great location. It’s very near the centre of town, but away from all the noise and bustle. The views across the river are wonderful. The kitchen appliances were all easy to use which made cooking trouble free. Throughout, all the furniture was comfortable (sofas, bed). The apartment was clean.” Jennifer – 6-13 July 2019

“Clean comfortable and great views of the river Dart. Lovely stay.Great views. A very enjoyable stay with lots of things to do – no need for a car at all.” Deborah and Nigel – 16 June 2019

“This has been a wonderful base for our week in Devon. We loved the breakfast views down onto the river. Hope to return to this cosy apartment in the future” Neil and Brenda – 18-25 May 2019

“Had a fantastic week in Dartmouth. 2 Dartview is a brilliant location with stunning views across the estuary. Everything is well thought out with shops, bars and restaurants on our doorstep  – no need to  use the car. We used the ferries and steam train. All very enjoyable and hope to return! Thank you” Alan and Pat – 27 April – 4 May 2019

“Gorgeous short stay at Dartview number two.  Perfect little place to stay for a romantic getaway. Amazing view and such a joy to sit at the table eating breakfast as the morning sun fills up the room. Great base for exploring all that the beautiful town of Dartmouth has to offer. Super cosy bed – we struggled to leave it this morning! We will be back. Thank you.” H&P – 25-27 April 2019

“Practically perfect in every way.!! I holiday with my 8 year old Border Terrier, Mr Beaker (whom due to a long term illness is in a doggy buggy. The property big enough to accommodate it.) so the property was perfect for us two….Level access throughout and only three steps up to main building makes the property perfect for all ages. Having access to Bayards Cove opposite was simply perfect too, we could be at the ferry within 2 minutes, (we had travelled by train so no car) taking us over to Kingswear to catch local buses to Brixham or Torquay (both services bang on time and accepting dogs in pushchairs). One tip, do take your binoculars as the view from lounge window again ‘simply perfect’, and an ever changing live picture. I sat for hours at this window reading and watching life on the ocean wave. I cannot thank the owner of this property enough for allowing dogs, Beaker is my absolute world and to be able to holiday with him in such a central level ground property was the icing on the cake. Also being a female alone on holiday this property and its location made me feel safe at all times. Dartmouth is exceptionally dog friendly, in fact I have never found anywhere else that can match it, so I do holiday in Dartmouth often…Give it a go, whether alone, with a loved one or like me with a four legged soul mate, you really won’t regret it and if you decide to stay at 2 Dartview, Newcomen Road I can assure you, you will have picked a little Gem. Simples!!!” Jackie and Mr Beaker – 29 March – 8 April 2019

“Had a very enjoyable week staying again at No 2 Dartview.  The property suits our needs and is a comfortable property to come back to chill out in after a days walking.  No doubt we will be back soon. Dart Valley Cottages are very helpful and easy to book with. Very good all round (Well it is lovely Devon)” Elaine – 16-23 March 2019

“Apartment had all we needed – even managed Xmas day lunch! Warm, clean and ideal for walking into town  and the bonus of a wonderful view. Loved the extras – xmas tree and mince pies. Much appreciated. Perfect location for visiting Dartmouth any time of year. Visited for Xmas week and accommodation was warm and welcoming with great views over the river Dart. Within walking distance of town and castle. Parking outside is on a first come basis but a small price to pay for location. Would highly recommend.” Elaine and Marc- 22-27 December 2018

“Great location almost in the centre of town, 1 minute from the car park (for which we had a pass), but nonetheless nice and quiet. The river front is 2-3 minutes away, and a well-stocked M+S Food store is just round the corner. Unloading was a bit interesting (parking blocks the entire street!) but hey! You only do that once and it’s a generally pretty quiet street. The apartment is nicely decorated and comfortable (good beds), with bits of quirky humour all around the place; the kitchen is well equipped in comparison with most lets, and the shower is decent. We were welcomed with a naughty-but-nice cake and a bottle of Prosecco – a lovely welcoming touch – as well as some milk in the fridge. It’s been one of the nicer lettings we’ve experienced, and would recommend it.”  David – September 2018

“What a lovely week we just spent here at Dartview No 2! The location is superb, we enjoyed the proximity to the city centre and the kids just loved being only a staircase  away from their favourite crabbing spot. It was our first time in Dartmouth and we simply loved it. Hope to be back soon” – Myriam, Boriz, Max and Lily – 29 July 2018

“This was our first visit to Dartmouth and we hope it won’t be our last!  We’ve had a fab week and enjoyed the most glorious sunshine which has shown off Dartmouth and the river Dart  to its sparkling best! We love the location of the apartment with its wonderful views and proximity to all the lovely eateries and pubs in town. All in all a wonderful stay! Thank you so much!” Shona and David – 28 June 2018

“We loved staying at No 2 Dartview – so easy to get around, even popping back when we’d forgotten something. Everything was so well thought out in the flat and we don’t think there was anything we’d like to be different. We would love to return one day. I am sure we will – love Dartmouth so much. Many thanks” John and Angie – 11 June 2018
