8 Mayflower Court is a light and airy second floor apartment located on Dartmouth’s North Embankment. With 2 bedrooms, stunning river views and onsite parking available; 8 Mayflower Court is the perfect spot for a couples retreat or a small family holiday. This riverside apartment has been finished to a high standard and is only a moments level walk from Dartmouth’s selection of shops, cafes and pubs.

From the private parking area at the rear of the property there are 24 external steps to the back door (the property can also be access from the front via a well-lit internal staircase.) The back door opens straight into the well equipped kitchen with oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, combi-microwave, washer dryer. DAB radio with Bluetooth.

Through into the open plan lounge diner with wonderful panoramic views of the Dart and embankment (great for watching the steam trains and ferries journey in and out of Kingswear). The lounge area is furnished with leather sofa and wooden framed armchairs as well as 40 inch Smart TV, Humax-BT YouView PVR, Blu-ray/DVD and Internet Radio.

The master bedroom at the front of the property has a king size bed (5’), built in wardrobe, full length mirror and dressing table as well as stunning river views. The second bedroom at the rear of the property has twin beds (3’), built in wardrobe and full length mirror. The family bathroom is tiled with bath, separate shower cubicle , toilet, basin and heated towel rail.

There is parking for one car in the free communal parking area at the rear of the property with a permit provided.  Spaces are not allocated and are not the most suitable for larger vehicles. However, if you are bringing a larger vehicle, a permit is also provided for the Mayors Avenue Car Park which is less that 100m from the property.

Arrival time is after 3pm and departure time is by 10am. Access is via a key safe, therefore it does not matter if you are arriving late at night.

Changeover

In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Saturday changeover and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact us with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible.
Out of peak season we don’t need to keep to a Saturday changeover.

General Provisions

To get you started on arrival you will find a small quantity of –  tea, coffee and sugar as well as salt and pepper, dish washing tablets, washing up liquid, j-cloths and scourers, bin bags, hand soap and toilet roll.

Travelling by train

Dartmouth is around 12 miles from Totnes Railway Station, which has a selection of Taxi’s, and a regular bus service to Dartmouth.

Travelling by train

Dartmouth is around 45 miles from Exeter International Airport.

Travelling by ferry

Dartmouth is around 31 miles from the Ferry Port at Plymouth.
