Swilly Barn is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful self catering holiday in the Devon countryside. Ideal for 2 couples sharing as both double bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Swilly Barn has been totally renovated but has managed to retain the charm and character of the original building with open vaulted ceilings and timber beams throughout. Dittisham is a short drive away, where you will find the nearest shop and post office both in the Red Lion as well as the picturesque quayside with The Ferry Boat Inn and Anchorstone Cafe. From the quay there are regular ferry crossings to Greenway (The childhood holiday home of Agatha Christie) and up to Dartmouth.

Accommodation: The lower level incorporates a large and stylish kitchen/diner with breakfast bar and is well equipped for your cooking, dining and laundry needs, with a double oven, hob, microwave, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. On the same level is a bedroom with a king-size bed, a TV and a large en suite shower room with toilet and basin. A small flight of steps leads to an impressive, comfy lounge with TV with Freeview, DVD player, wood burner (first basket of logs provided October – March). The lounge provides access to the second bedroom with a double bed and adjoining bathroom with full sized bath, toilet and basin.

Exterior: French doors lead to a secluded patio areas equipped with garden furniture – ideal for al-fresco dining. From here you have views across open fields and you can also watch the owner’s Alpacas as they graze and play in the adjoining paddock. Steps from the patio lead to a gravelled drive where there is space for 1 or 2 cars. In front of the kitchen is a small lawn area with views across the wooded valley.

Nearby: Swilly Barn is located just outside the village of Dittisham, The village amenities are a short drive away as is the nearest town Dartmouth.
