Herons Reach is a lovely barn conversion, available to let for self catering holidays in Dittisham, South Devon. Set in Dittisham Court in the middle of the village, Herons Reach enjoys views of the river Dart and up to Dartmoor from the large front windows and front deck. This holiday property is pet friendly and is perfect for exploring the local area on foot. Herons Reach is just a short walk from the village shop and local pub and a ten minute walk to the waterfront where you will find the Ferry Boat Inn and the Anchorstone Café and ferry links to Dartmouth and Greenway.

Accommodation: The front door opens into the super, bright open plan living area; with high roof trusses and exposed beams. There is a well equipped kitchen area with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box, washing machine/tumble dryer and microwave, dining area with sufficient space for four people and a lounge with sofas, TV and DVD.

Downstairs: Are two well sized double bedrooms, both with 4’6” beds and both have pine furniture. On the same floor there is a bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet and basin, plus a separate toilet with basin.

Outside: At the front door there is a small decked area with views of Dittisham Mill Creek as well as access to the car parking and four acres of communal grounds; steps lead down from the deck to a small paved area ideal for storing bikes or kayaks. As well as the village pubs there are a number of pubs, bars and restaurants in the nearby town of Dartmouth including The Seahorse and Rockfish both owned by celebrity chef Mitch Tonks. The closest beach is Blackpool Sands a 15 minute drive away near the village of Stoke Fleming.

Arrival and departure times

Arrival time is after 3pm and departure time is by 10am. Access is via a key safe, therefore it does not matter if you are arriving late at night.
